Coronavirus Update

A Message from IN'n'OUT Autocentres regarding the Coronavirus pandemic

Given the evolving situation with regard to the COVID-19 outbreak, IN'n'OUT is taking the spread of Coronavirus across the United Kingdom very seriously.

We are carefully monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Government, PHE, the NHS and the WHO, and our overriding priority is the health and well-being of our colleagues and customers, and in any decisions make, that is our key consideration.

Where possible we are keeping our Autocentres open, but with a focus on servicing Keyworkers while continuing to follow the Government approach of keeping normal everyday operations going wherever possible, while taking all the precautions we can to help prevent the spread of the virus. We ask that all our customers wear a face covering when entering our premises or waiting in the customer reception area, unless they are exempt.

Hygiene & Cleaning

All our IN'n'OUT Autocentre teams continue to be stringent around hygiene and cleaning regimes including thorough, frequent hand washing.

We have also increased our cleaning in centres, particularly for those areas touched regularly by team members and customers.

ALL IN'n'OUT Autocentre staff change gloves and wash hands between EVERY vehicle job.

Contact & Social Distancing

We are being extra vigilant on personal space and exercising social distancing as much as possible.

We've decommissioned the coffee machines in our waiting rooms until further notice to minimise contact in these areas.

We’ve temporarily changed our practices to help minimise contact and will not ask for your signature on paperwork or in store tablets.

We will clearly demonstrate work that is required to make your vehicle safe, show you any parts removed and demonstrate any faults.

You’ll be invited to receive quotations and invoices by email which we would appreciate you accept to minimise contact.

We are also able to take payment remotely before your vehicle is collected.

If Extra Care is Required

If you’d prefer to minimise your time in the Autocentre then please follow the steps below:

  • On arrival notify a member of staff at reception then return and remain in your vehicle, or call the centre from your car to advise them you have arrived and remain in your vehicle.
  • A member of staff will attend to you in order of arrival, discuss your requirements and either confirm the scheduled work or provide a quotation. We can do this via teh telephone to reduce face to face time.
  • Remain in your vehicle until we’re ready to commence work on it.
  • At which point you can either leave the vehicle with us and return when the work is completed, or wait either in reception or outside the centre.
  • We will send you a video of any work that is required so you don't need to spend time in the Autocentre looking at the issues.

Autocentre Closures

The following centres have been temporarily closed:.

  • All of our locations are open and operating as normal.

Key Worker Statement

IN'n'OUT Autocentres is committed to supporting the government its position in response to the Coronavirus. In line with the UK Governments guidelines, we consider that our front line staff involved in vehicle maintenance, repair, and MOT testing fulfil the criteria of "Key Workers" and our job is critical with helping to keep the road transport network moving.

We service and maintain many individuals and organisations which include emergency workers, NHS staff, and teachers who are vital in the role of keeping community cohesion and they rely on us to ensure their vehicles are safe and road worthy.

As and when the situation develops, we will post further updates on our website and on our social channels across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Thanks for your understanding during these challenging times.
